I've already gotten Brandon something for his birthday, which isn't until March, and I've given it to him. I got a great deal on a soldering gun kit complete with solder and various tips for different jobs. He'd been talking about wanting one.
However, I'd still like to surprise him with something nicer - more personal. He is a meticulous dresser. When he goes on a date, he likes to wear something very nice, not at all grungy. I thought I might go to one of the men's shops in town and get him a really nice shirt and a pair of cufflinks. He's already got some very dressy pants and several nice ties, but his shirts are a bit, um, casual for the most part. Since he has a great looking double breasted navy wool suit jacket, he'd look pretty sharp in a dress shirt to go with it, I think.
