Yesterday was my birthday. My kids took me out to dinner then Brandon took me shopping for some new clothes. Elizabeth came along and helped me pick out some things. She has an eye for style and for what suits me.
Elizabeth had already given me some new makeup, a big bottle of nice lotion from Bath and Body Works, and a new blouse. We laughed about that, since it was just like another one I'd bought for myself, only a different color! She said she almost bought that other color..lol.
We shopped clearance racks, of course. I can't bring myself to justify paying full price for anything. I'm too much of a cheapskate, even when someone else is doing the paying. If we'd shopped online, I'd have been the same way. I'd have used a Bluefly coupon or some other coupon code to get the best possible price.
With fuel what it is today, and heating fuel also going higher, a person has to save money where ever they can!
