The weather is warming up again, at least for now, which makes my thoughts turn to gardening. Several years ago, I had a very nice, productive garden which was all in raised beds. They were easy to work with and using intensive gardening methods, I was able to produce enough basic vegetables and herbs to can, dehydrate, and freeze for use in the winter time.
I miss that a lot.
I have two small raised beds now, but my plan is to once again take in the entire front yard in vegetable, herb, and flower gardens. I also want to plant an asparagus bed, a strawberry bed, some fruit trees, a few grape vines, and maybe even some tame blackberries.
