Fall is coming on in spurts this year. For instance, a few days ago it was in the 70s for overnight lows. This morning it was in the lower 40s. Brrr! I know, that's not the coldest it's going to get, but it's definitely time for flannel jammies instead of teddies lingerie.
In fact, when I woke up this morning I was quite reluctant to come out from under the covers. I did manage to brew a pot of coffee, but I sat on the sofa with a throw wrapped around me, sipping the steaming coffee. I was just trying to warm up.
I don't want to run the heaters yet and increase my electric bill. As long as I can layer on some clothes or wrap up in a blanket, I'll keep them off. I know that in a few weeks it's going to be a lot colder and that tactic won't work. Then, I'll roll out the heaters and use them, but with great care and discrimination.
